Submission Guidelines

 Workshop

The workshop submission and reviewing process will use SciencesConf.

  1. Authors are invited submit an abstract (2 pages) by August 1, 2017.
  2. Submitted papers undergo an immediate single-blind review process, and authors are notified of their acceptance as soon as the review is completed (at the latest by August 27, 2017)
  3. Camera-ready papers are expected to be sent shortly after their notification of acceptance, at the latest by September 1, 2017.

The GREC Program Committee will strictly enforce the IAPR Statement of Ethics.

Author Instructions and Paper Format

Papers should be formatted with the style files/details available at Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings. Paper size is US letter. A complete paper should be submitted in the proper format and should strictly respect the 2 page limit.

The 2 page abstract limit is enforced as to encourage high interaction and discussion. Selected extended papers will be published in the post-proceedings.

Camera-Ready Instructions

Camera ready paper submission of GREC 2017 papers are handled electronically via the ICDAR2017 Author Kit web page.

Please be aware that this process is managed by IEEE CPS, on behalf of the general ICDAR Publication Committee.

In order for the organizers to distinguish the ICDAR-papers from the workshops’, please indicate the name of workshop and the paper ID of your paper, like for instance “GREC_001” in “Paper ID:” form located at the bottom of the Author Kit web page.

Paper format instruction and page limit are described in this the above web site. The page limit for GREC is 2 pages.

Camera ready submission of workshop papers are due by 1 September 2017.

LNCS Post-Conference Proceedings

All papers presented at the workshop (except those explicitly identified by the Program Committee as being out of scope) are entitled to be extended and revised, and submitted for review and possible publication in a GREC 2017 LNCS Volume. In some cases, the Program Committee will give explicit indications or require particular remarks to be taken into account before submission.

Important notice: Acceptance of the paper for presentation at the workshop does not automatically guarantee publication in the LNCS post-conference proceedings.
